The Hero: "KABANG"

Kabang is a brave dog that lost his nose while saving two little girls. When the man's daughter and a cousin were about to cross the road in Zamboanga City, Philippines, she saved them and became a worldwide hero. The dog's face was trapped in the front tire of the motorbike, tearing her snout and upper jaw off. She went to the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine for treatment. She returned to the Philippines

after 7 months of treatment.

Before Kabang became the Hero dog and went to California for treatment. She lives in Zamboanga City in the Philippines. She lives with her owner named Rudy Bunggal, Mang Rudy as people call him, has a vulcanizing shop. It is what he does for a living. Mang Rudy adopted Kabang the Hero dog when she was a puppy. She is a stray puppy so Mang Rudy adopted her and took care of her. After the accident and treatment from California Kabang was under the care of Dr. Anton Lim, a veterinary doctor, for almost 8 years.

Kabang finally says "goodbye" after 8 amazing years of her life following the accident, leaving a lot of memories and inspirations in our world. This brave, heroic dog showed that they care about and appreciate the lives of those who look after them. As a result, as people become more understanding humans, we should embrace dogs as members of our families, and it will be better if we cherish, nurture, care for, and love them. Because those dogs will never betray us and will always defend us from harm. Rest well, Doggy!
